Michael McCarren is a longtime Pitt County, North Carolina, entrepreneur who has led TieOx Operational Excellence as president since 2009. His global company assists clients spanning industries such as packaging, aviation, and medical devices in containing costs, automating processes, and developing new products. Michael Patrick McCarren employs intelligent design in attaining organizational sustainability, and he implements data analytics, advanced reporting, and measurable assessments.

Mr. McCarren holds a BS in plastics engineering from Pennsylvania State University and completed his master of manufacturing engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. As an AGR International intern engineer in the late 1990s, he completed a study on beverage bottles and internal pressure, This research involved putting various glass products through thermal shock, impact, and vertical load testing.

Michael Patrick McCarren gained early experience with Bayer Corporation in Pittsburgh as a co-op design engineer. He subsequently held roles with John Deere such as supply management specialist, design engineer, and new product program manager. In addition to overseeing TieOx, he leads the Greenville United Football Club as president and drives inclusive community engagement across Pitt County.
